| Well, I think that the problem I am going to describe here is pretty obvious and I think that I know what to do with it, but here it is anyway. My younger daughter was playing and somehow Notebook went down on floor. And because of some miracle I have successfully turned the ThinkPad on, but without healthy screen. There are only two colors now on the display. The ugly Green and the regular black. And the display, looks like broken, but not physically. For now, other pieces of hardware are functioning quite normal. That’s it. What is the smartest move? Thank you on your time. |

| I think that your notebook has the VGA CRT connector at the rear, so I suggest you to try with external monitor. You can find out is your graphic processor “disturbed” or damaged. If you see the clear and color wide image on the monitor, than your Notebook LCD is damaged. But, leaves a hope for it’s further life. ( the life of a notebook, turns into a life of the Desktop, so suddenly ) Kids. What to do without them? |
