Hello there. I have bought new Intel Core2Due E6700 processor. I would like to test it thoroughly before I start working anything on this computer. I know I might sound paranoid a little bit but I just want to be sure. Can you tell me how to test CPU as good as possible. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi. You need some software for testing CPU. You have one freeware software for this purpose. Its name is TestCPU. It will perform series of tests and can perform so called burn in test that can last several days if you wish while which CPU will be under maximum load all the time.
