Hello! I have two computers at my home and I want to make home network. I have asked network administrator on my work how I can set home network, but he started to talked me about TCP/IP and he said that I cannot do on my own, but he would do for me per small price. Please, tell me what to do now?

Hello! First of all, do not pay anything to him! You can set on your own TCP/IP Home Networking, trust me. Only you need is to connect your computers:
1. with crossover cable
2. through the router or hub
If you make network connections through router, you will need to connect computers to router and configure router settings. For simple P2P and hub connection you do not need to configure settings at all (and I suggest you this type of the network).
