I am experiencing some severe performance drop in games that happen occasionally during gaming. I can play normally for some time and then FPS drops significantly to few frames per second. Sam thing happen to sound that lags as picture. It stays like that for a minute or two and then gets back to normal. My commuter is strong enough to handle such games. What could be the problem?

It looks to me like some of the Windows system services, or some other application services, are running in background and taking system resources from time to time. This should happen even when you do not play games, but you will not notice it then. Open task manager and see if some process is taking a lot of memory or CPU in the same interval you experience lag in the game. Also, this could be tied to antivirus software if it is configured to perform memory scan or some other scan from time to time.
