| Hello. I have discovered malvare virus on my FTP web site. It was a small trojan that was spreading unwanted adds to all visitors of the page. And after the series and rounds of fighting with, I somehow won the battle. But, now one of my computers seems a little bit slower than usual. Is it possible that malware can do such a thing, slowing down my PC? And where is the difference between virus and malware? Thanks. |

| Nice work regarding your FTP web site. Concerning the possible infection of your home PC, it is possible if you were leading the battle from that particular PC. Do a complete scan with, lets say Zone Alarm Pro. Oh, and the difference between Virus and Malware are just in a name. Malware like Spyware and Adware are nothing but a trojans (viruses) or worms with different purposes. |
