| Well, hello there. I have tried to raise some performance for my system, but it seems that I have messed up something. I tried to overclock my system by changing the FSB and multiplier. And it all went well, I did gained some performance, but now I can’t boot up the system, because ntldr is missing. This message displays on the screen when I try to start the Windows. What’s the procedure for system recovery when something like this occur? Thanks in advance. |

| Hi. There are various things you should know before you start with any kind of overclocking. Not all the processors are capable for higher speed than the default. It also depends pretty much on the RAM memory you have and the capability of motherboard north bridge chipset. Anyway, enter the BIOS and set all overclocking options to the default or auto level settings. After that, you may expect that your system will get recovered just because of that. If system gets recovered, you can continue with overclock experiments, but don’t push it that much to the limits. You can damage something that way. |
