System crashes on games only

I need some help with my new graphic card. I downloaded the latest detonator driver from the Internet. I have Windows XP SP1 installed on my computer for a long time and everything works fine until now. However, when I try to install downloaded drivers I get an error message. Now my system crashes in games only. What can I do?

There are couple of reasons that could cause your problem with games. It may be a result of an error in the process of downloading and your driver file may be damaged. You should try to download it once again and try to reinstall it. You may not have a proper version of Windows installed on your computer. Your version of drivers could be for some other version of Windows like Vista. In that case, you have to find and download a proper version for XP. Third reason for your problem could be that your update may need some service pack or special add-ons. If that is your problem, you need to find out what are those things, download and install them.
