I am using windows XP operating system. I am not some kind of expert for this system (just upgraded my win 2000). Well, my friend told me that I have system configure utility in XP OS, but I dont know what this utility is. Could you be so kind and explain me what this is and how to use it. Thank you very much.

Oh, thats nothing. This utility you can use to diagnose system configuration problems. To do that you will have to start it. To start it click on start, then go to the run and type msconfig, then press enter on your keyboard. You can open run if you press windows key on keyboard an R, too. After you ran this utility youll be able to see box with tabs: general, system.ini, wini.ini, boot.ini, services and startup. You can change preferences (e.x. enable/disable some startup processes) in it, but thats not recommended.
