| It says there is a limit of how many times it can be installed on a system. Since I've had different DVD drives in the computer, and upgrade it every day, it shouldn't matter. As long as I'm not borrowing my install disc out to someone, and I am the only one person who uses it, why should there be a time limit? Granted it's the 2002 version, but at the time it was $90 and very valuable. Do I just throw the installation disc away and go get the 2003 version, or do you think if I contact Norton, they would give me a new license so I can continue using the software. |

| In 2006 they got smarter, because a lot of people were uninstalling it then reinstalling it in order to get another year free. Each Symantec CD comes with 2 years worth of updates. You will need to go online and buy another year or just buy a fresh cd which is good for one more year. I suggest if you have windows XP Home that you reinstall it. It is $70 in the stores just to know. You will need to delete the old Norton first before you install the new one. Version 2006 will not work with older systems, dont rush. You should ask technical support about it, their staff will help you. By the way, I think the 2006 version doesn't work with Xindows 2000 and should be changed to another version! Technical support usually works with phone systems, so you should get the answer soon. Check out the Kaspersky! |
