| Which one would you say is better, overall? I've been using SGate Personal for a while now (before that I was using only the default Windows firewall), but as it happens, it still lets some small amount of malware onto my system, though I don't know how or where from. My friends have been telling me how great Zone Alarm has been for them, and Im considering a switch. What do you think? |

| Well, I've been using only Zone Alarm for years now, and before that I had Outpost Pro which was too much of a resource-hog at the time. I can't really compare the two firewalls you mention, but I can only confirm that the current version of ZA Pro is indeed reliable and not too, how shall I say, overt at what it does. I hate it when a firewall keeps prompting you about something that you've told it to do (or not do) a million times before… So just try it, and see what you think. |
