Hello! We have learned in school yesterday that switch is better than hub. But, when I asked professor to explain me this, he said that he would explain me this next week because he was running out of time. I am contacting you because this subject is interesting for me very much. Ca you tell me something more about this?

Hello! First of all, I want to tell you that I am not some kin of expert in networking field and that you should ask someone more about this. All I know is that network switch is better than network hub because of following; when you are using hub distribute all of the data they receive to all the network devices they are connected to it. But, switch does not do this and it remembers MAC addresses of all devices attach to it. That is why switches are more expensive than hubs.
