Hello everyone. I have a question about Norton Swapfile optimization and I hope that someone will be able to answer me on it. I know that defragmenting hard drive is quite important and I have been doing it with Windows built in tool. However, I found out that Norton can optimize swap file which I find useful. How it is doing it and it is useful at all.

Hello there. Norton optimizes swap file by placing it at the beginning of hard drive and making access times shorter this way. It also defrags swap file which makes computer easier to write in swap file. These optimizations are useful in theory, but I am not sure if you will experience any speed improvements in day to day computer usage.
