I am going to assemble a new computer. I have purchased following parts: Intel Core2Duo E6600 processor, ATI RADEON X1950XTX video card, 2GB Corsair RAM, Western digital 250 GB SATA hard drive, Sony DVD burner and Gigabyte motherboard. I have only problem to decide what sufficient power supply is. I am a little bit out of cash now and I would like to buy something just to get going and later I will buy some good power supply.

It is easy to calculate what sufficient power supply is. Every computer component has its power consumption labeled somewhere on it. Just add these numbers and you will have absolute minimum you need to run this computer. Of course, pay attention that most cheap power supply units are not capable to give power that is labeled on them.
