| Just the other day I was looking up some data on my computer that I know I stored on my F drive, and I wasnt able to find it. Actually I couldnt find the F drive itself. The computer said that my f drive is not formatted and asked me if I would like to format it know. I guess, suddenly, my F: drive is not formatted? I dont know how that is possible I would appreciate if someone had similar problem and resolved it successfully, and if you can, please, share your experience. |

| You should try and use some of the data recovery programs, many of whom are available on the internet. I had some positive experience with Partition Table Doctor (http://www.ptdd.com). It helped me to rebuild a partition. It was completely successful, but Ive heard of some others that were partially successful and some recovered data was corrupted. I hope you will be of better luck then those people. The best part with Partition Table Doctor is that it takes very little time, I would say no more then a couple of seconds. Ive heard of a guy that spent 11 hours trying to recover his lost date and did nothing. Comparing to that, this is a piece of cake. |
