Hello. I'm trying to install SuSE 10 onto my Compaq Presario, where I already have Win XP Pro installed. However, I get an error message saying it can't be partitioned because of incompatible FS. I'm not sure what this means, or how I can work around it. Can anyone help me out here? Thanks in advance.

"Incompatible"? Are you sure? Do you mean "inconsistent", perhaps? In any case, here's what you do - check out this link: http://www.tuxmachines.org /node/11989. It's an article dealing specifically with SuSE installations on Compaq laptops (that's not an easy task, I'm afraid). Browse through it, maybe you'll find something of use.
