Stuck in data transfer

Hello! I have very strange issue. I will start from the beginning: I am running Windows XP operating system with Service Pack 2 installed and using Microsoft Office 2003. I have one document made in Microsoft Office Word 2003 and when I try to send it from the network, I cannot do that. Why?

Hello! I am sure that you are getting some error message which explains why you cannot transfer data over network, but you have not written it to me. Anyway, check following: if your document is in use (if it is opened), then you cannot send it through network; also check if you have network connection.
