| There is probably something wrong with my computer, or at least with my hard disk drive. Lately, I have a problem with some kind of strange HDD LED activity. The red light on my case is turned on, almost all of the time, although I am not doing anything with my hard disk. Does anyone know what might be causing the problem? Can I somehow fix it? |

| Hey there. Just because you Hard disk drive led is working all the time, doesn’t mean there is something wrong with your computer. Maybe there is some system process going on, that you do not even know you are running, and that uses you hard disk drive. For example, some back up utility, or system restore or something like that. I would recommend you to take a look at control panel, next time it happens and see which processes are running there. Since, you are obviously a beginner I would recommend you to look on the web and see what those processes do, and maybe you will have your “problem” solved. |
