I bought a new graphic card. I connected it myself to the computer. This is my first time, so I was very careful. But I dont know much about computers, so I need guidance with the rest of the process. Can someone explain exact Steps in a PCI graphic card installation? I have OS WinXP. Please be as detail as you can. I need every little detail.

Man you are either brave or stupid. How you can decide to install alone graphic card when you dont know what you are doing. That is not very smart thing. It was better to take your computer to the service, and let them to do what needs to be done. Oh, man, ok. If you started the process, I will try helping you finish it. You should insert installation disk that you got with your PCI graphic card. Your computer probably showed that you have new hardware. Then you click on that icon. Go on automatically installation. And it should find disk and install driver alone. If that doesnt help then go to Control PanelSystemdevice manager and find the new hardware. Right click on it and go to update driver. That should help.
