Hi there. I had some difficulties regarding my computer and now I don’t know what is happening. I can hear some strange yet unknown sound coming out from my computer case, but without operating system showing on my screen. I do know what a single beep is, it is a sign that inside the case, everything is ok. What about very long, something like ultra sound? I think my processor is dead, that’s it.

Hello. Two hardware devices are producing such noise, when they are bad. This could be the CPU, and that may vary, because some motherboards just don’t give any sign at all when the CPU is dead, or your RAM memory might be damaged. When the graphic card doesn’t work, you hear two longer and than two short beeps. So, check your RAM memory, too.
