Spyware passes by Antivirus software?

Hello! I am running Windows XP pro SP2 operating system. I have installed Norton antivirus software and Zone Alarm personal firewall. My friend told me that I need to install antispyware too. I do not think that he is right because I have antivirus and this software is enough for protection in cooperation with firewall. Am I right? Thank you!

Hello! Well, you are not right. Generally speaking, spyware passes by antivirus software. So, this means that your friend is right and that you will need to install antispyware program. I suggest you to install LavaSoft Ad-Aware antispyware software. This software is really god and with it you will be well protected from spyware infection.
