| I'm using Outlook Express 6, and I've gotten used to having the automatic spell check enabled there - I make a lot of mistakes when fasttyping, and I like to have them autocorrected if possible. However, since the other day, the spell check button is grayed out, and I can't get it to work. Any idea what might've caused this? How do I make it right? |

| Spell checking isn't an option integrated into older versions of OE normally, but it does some with office apps like MS Word. However, Word is a buggy piece of software that is known to sometimes displace its dictionary files, so spell checks go awry. If you get reports of missing files when you try a spellcheck, such as MSSP232.DLL or MSSP2_EN.LEX (depending on your version of Office), either search for them manually or reinstall/repair Office to restore them. |
