Hi! Are there any speed restrictions in wireless adapters? I have a Netgear adapter which claims to be a 108Mb/s. Currently Im using it for connection to my 2Mb/s DSL router, and it works fine. But I want to interconnect my other computer with wireless (its currently on Ethernet cable). I need to know if I can expect such speed (I always got 100Mb/s with cat5e).

Ive never succeeded to establish more than 20Mb/s real speed, even though both my wireless cards were specified as 55Mb/s. So I suppose you can expect something similar in your situation. However, I found out that 20Mb/s is more than enough for home purposes. Copying is fairly fast, you can stream from another computer without problem etc.
