| Well, simple option can be already found in Windows, but that is robot talk one so you can’t expect any kind of complicated nor good performance that will astonish out of that one. SpeakAloud, is one of the programs that allows adding on a side , which means you can import any kind of voice that will perform for you, even from the ones that I am going to a mention here in next lines. The most popular and wanted are AT&T, Neospeech, Acapela Group, Realspeak , TextAloud.(for Mac users) All of these ones are offering some number of voices between which you need to choose which one you want to perform what you wrote, male or female ones. They have very high performance, meaning very clear pronunciation of the words. In case the pauses between lines are too long or person talks too slow for your taste, settings can be changed with few steps. In some reviews of Neospeech, I found that people in general have been satisfied with the all voices that are on Neospeech list and how they sound. For learning languages not being irritated by the sound of some voice after many hours of listening is very important fact for every speech program so it could get selected among the other ones that are offered in the software market. The fact that the mentioned ones here are based on exploiting the natural voices for their use probably is reason why they are marked as best ones. Some of them are being very helpful and useful for people that have lost their ability to talk. NextUpTalker and ReadPlease are one of them also. All these software’s have proper help text made in PDF or HTML version and usually using Word as a notebook . Hope you will make your choice easier with this short “list of suggestions”! |
