| I have recently installed some P2P sharing software. It really helps me for sending some photos and video clips to my friends. However, I have heard there is always monitoring of such transfers, and I just do not want to be watched in such a way. Is there some program to help me protect myself? Thanks in advance. |

While using P2P software is perfectly legal, there are always those who share copyrighted material which is actually the subject of government monitoring. However, if you simply do not feel like being watched, I suggest you get PeerGuardian. It hides your IP address and thus prevents anyone who wants to intrude your privacy. Like other programs, it also enables your surfing and sharing files however you want. You can go to http://www.afterdawn.com/software/p2p_software/
p2p_tools/peerguardian.cfm for more info and download if you want. |
