Hi guys. I need to know is it safe to unplug the speakers while the computer is still up and running? During the night, when other people are sleeping, sometimes I have to do some work on my computer, and I just cant live without the music. If I plug out the speakers and than plug the headphones in, will that cause some damage to my computer or soundcard? Thanks in advance.

Yes it is safe, dont worry. If your speakers dont have headphones jack on them, than there is no other way, right? If you are afraid of parching or damaging the front out jack, well do not. You just cant. But it is not recommended to unplug the speakers if they are still turned on. DO not let the electricity trough speaker jack if it isnt plugged into the sound card.
