Hey there! I know that Windows 200 is a bit older operative system, but I have just upgraded my Windows 98 to this one. Now, everything functions great – except the sound. It did recognize the sound card, but no sound comes from the speakers. I have no idea what is going on and I have to make it function as soon as possible. Thanks in advance

Well, maybe you just have the wrong driver. The fact that operative system recognized it doesn’t mean the driver is the right one. I think you should check the website of the manufacturer and download the driver for your sound card for this operative system. I think that might help, if somehow the system installed the wrong driver. The other possibility is that something happened to your sound card, that it somehow got damaged and that it just happened accidentally when you upgraded your system. But, first check if all your cables are connected well, sometimes such little thing cause such serious troubles. And also check that sound and volume options in control panel, maybe something is not configured well.
