I am looking all day around Windows XP trying to find settings for sound card. Some old games are requesting that I change something in hardware configuration for the sound card but I am unable to find these hardware settings . Can you point me in right direction? Thank you in advance.

Go to Control Panel, double click on System, click on Hardware tab and then on Device Manager button. You will see list of all devices installed in your computer. Find sound card and click on plus sign right to its name. Right click on sound card name and choose Preferences. In the new window that shows up click on Resources tab and you will see all required information.
