Sound Card without sound

This is very weired problem with sound card on my computer. It worked perfectly fine until I plugged in Plantronics Audio 500 head set. Now I have sound card without sound. It does not matter how loud speakers are set sound is not coming from them. Strange enough, sound is perfect on headset. Is there something that I missing here?

Hello. Plantronics A 500 headset is USB headset with its own sound card if I am not mistaken. When you plug in such device it automatically sets itself as default sound device. So, it is perfectly normal that you have sound card without sound. Go to Control Panel – Sounds and Audio Devices and change default sound device back to your sound card. Now you will have sound from your speakers.
