| Hello! I have Sony SCSI CD R/RW for a few years. I have changed few computer configurations, but not my cd. I have bought dvd burner, but I have keep this cd. It worked perfectly until some time ago when problem occurred. I can write cd, but I cant read any cd with it. Any solution? |

| Well, it seems to me like you have problem with photodetector. I think that it has been failed or maybe its electronic. Photodetector your cd r/rw drive use only when read cds, not when it writes. If you dont trust me, I suggest you to uy some cleaning cd and play it. I am sure that after cleaning youll have same problem. Buy new cd drive. |
