Hello there people. I have noticed that my ADSL modem is blinking like there is full bandwidth usage constantly, no matter if I dont use internet or I am not downloading anything. Pc works fine, but when I try to fire up my Internet Browser, it acts like I have overloading procedure with my PC. This is very suspicious. I think I have a virus or something, and my antivirus and firewall software are updated to the limit. How to determine that? Thanks in advance.

Hello. Well, first of all you can take a closer look at the process manager from within the task manager. See the CPU usage for every process. See how many Network Services your computer is running at the same time. You should have at least two network services, embedded in svchost.exe module. More than three is suspicious if you dont have local area network established with your PC. This behavior applies to some bad P2P or torrent client I think. Or you should scan your entire PC with antivirus software once again. Deep scan.
