I have computer and use windows operating system and outlook, of course. What I am trying to do is share contacts with my wife. We have different outlook profiles. I think that I have done everything what I could: searched the internet nothing found; tried to found some information in the help nothing again. You are my last chance. Is there any hope?

First of all, your wife and you have to use same Microsoft exchange server mailbox. If you dont use it, then you cant share .pst file. If you do, then you can copy files, because if your contact folder are in a personal folder (and usual is), then these files cant be open by two different users. You can easily copy files, or export them, or import it. Sharing is not one of the options.
