I need very good and reliable software to check my PC temperature, because my computer had few sudden restarts and few shutdowns while I was doing some very intensive work with video material on it. I have Asus P4C800-E deluxe motherboard and Pentium 4 at 3.06 gigahertz. I dont know is this a temperature problem, but I really have serious doubts about good cooling. Thanks in advance.

There are a lot of freeware utilities for your needs over the internet. One of them is Speed Fan. Everybody say thats one really great art work and it is very precise. But, beside Speed Fan, there is Asus PC Probe, that sits on your motherboard drivers CD. Did you knew that? I think that is the best choice for you. Try Asus PC Probe first. My advice.
