Hello! I have So slow AMD k6/2 500 processor. I have heard that these chips are designed to work on 100 FSB. I do not know if this is true or just rumor. I am considering upgrading processor, but my motherboard is PC Chips M571LMR. Will I get some benefit if I upgrade this processor?

Hello! I have to be honest with you: if you want faster computer I suggest you to buy new motherboard (because yours is not solid one) with harder processor. Only that will speed up your computer. I think that if you upgrade your processor you will just throw away your money and nothing more.
