I need advice, if you are able to give me one. I have noticed that something strange is going on with my computer. Last 3 or 4 times when I try to shut down, I noticed that it is shutting down very slow. I dont know if it is problem with my system. Does anybody know the source of Slow shutdown on XP?

I had the same problem 2 times, but both times it was different thing. First time when I had that problem, my computer was working 72, continuously. When I tried then to turn of computer, it was not just only slow shutdown. It also didnt want to turn of. But the computer was working too long so I understood why strange thing happened to him. Other time when I had slow shutdown, it was because of my system. I overloaded my computer, so he had problems with closing some programs. It is possible that is something wrong with your system, so because of that you have slow shutdown.
