Slow downloads with Belkin F5D7230-4 Router

Hello. I am having issues with slow downloads with Belkin F5D7230-4 Router. I am using torrent peer to peer network and it seems that I can not get full download speed even when torrent has more seeders then leachers. Also, torrent client says that I am not connectable. Is there something I can do to solve this issue?

Slow downloads with Belkin F5D7230-4 Router are caused because you have not forwarded port on router. Routers are acting as firewalls and they are blocking all but essential ports. You will have to see what port your torrent client is using and then forward that port in router configuration utility. After this your download speed will be improved significantly.
