Hello. I have small home network (just two computers connected through router) and cable internet. I am facing problem with download speeds. Downloads should go twice faster, at least. Both computers are running Windows XP Professional operating system with Service Pack 2 installed. My default browser is Internet Explorer. Thank you in advance.

Hello. Well, I am guessing that you are downloading content from the internet using Internet Explorer, or some other browser. Downloading like this can be really slow. I suggest you to install some third party download manager (for example FlashGot). This probably will improve downloading speed because download managers are opening several connections to web sites. Hope this will help you.
