Slow Performance of my new Sempron

Hello! I have bought processor for small amount of money for my computer and I am not satisfied. I bought AMD Sempron 2800+. Before this processor I had Barton processor and my games were faster then they are now. I think that has something with replacing processor. Just for the record, Sempron is not new. Some guy used it before me and he said that it worked just fine at his computer.

I am guessing that guy lies for a little bit. I mean, why should someone sell good processor for small amount of money? I think that you maybe have a problem with cooler on your Sempron processor; or, the worst, your Sempron is very bad one. Try to give him back it and takes money, if you can. When you buy components for your computer, try to buy new ones. Anyway, if you cant get your money back, try to replace cooler and if that dont help, buy new processor.
