Hello. I have established a network connection with my neighbor. My PC is running fine using ADSL internet. I have bought a wireless router because 50 meters distance between me and him isnt quite good for a UTP cables, right? But his link speed is very, very slow. Working around 30Mbit/s. What can affect our link speed? Is that because of NetGear? Thanks in advance.

Hi there. I think that provided speed, as it stands written on the router it self, should tell you everything. Do not blame your router, but instead of that try to raise it more higher than it is now. Indoor speed may vary because of many different factors. Are there buildings between you and your neighbor? Is there a software that is able to limit the protocol? Check all that.
