Hello! I am the owner of the Slim PS2 75001 that is apparently a disaster waiting to happen. By this I mean, cause of no cooling system (fan) in it, I have noticed that it is getting pretty warm especially during my game play. Fact that I consider as possible problem: even after my gaming it is not being able to cool off for hours. I am just worried that if it is getting overheated that my status will be changed into owner of the dead Slim PS2 device, heh. Can I do anything to that could prevent possible catastrophic combusting in some way?

Hi! I know that what I am about to say wont help you much, but things that are not having cooling system integrated is big no no to buy. Slim PS2 75001 is having huge reputation for being the device that is getting overheated pretty fast. I could only suggest you to open it while you are gaming and maybe place and point regular fan to its direction. That could maybe do the trick and lower the temperature.
