I tried hooking up a couple of computers thru a RJ45, and it didn't work, I kept getting errors, couldn't link at all. Then I get cheap wioreless router, Linksys, and connect that way. That worked, I could go online from both \machines, but I still can't see one from other!1! Both can ping the router and evrything but can't share files, printer, nothing!!! What am I doing wriong!?

Besides spelling, you mean? Could be a number of things, but you'll need to provide more details on the setup. Are both machines running the same OS? Something tells me it's Windows. Check the naming conventions, both for the workgroup and the individual machines. Are you using a print server of some kind to share printer access?
