| I have been using the Internet explorer for last couple of years and everything worked fine. However, until a few months ago, I couldn't defend myself from all sorts of viruses, spywares and worms. I reinstalled my OS several times but it did not help me for a longer period. After a day or two on the Internet, I have the same problems again. What are the signs that your browse has been hijacked? |

| If your browser is hijacked it wouldn't listen your commands every time. From time to time, it would behave as it has its own will. Mozila Firefox and Opera are much more popular browser then Internet explorer. Many users claim that they are faster and less prone to viruses then the Internet Explorer. I personally do not agree with them. I am also on the Internet at least 12 hours per day and I am using Internet Explorer without any problems. I have installed SpyBot as an anti-spyware software. It is completely free. I additionally use AVG as an anti-virus software and I am completely satisfied with that combination. If you have Microsoft Windows XP, you also should install Service Pack 2 and enable its firewall. |
