Hello! I am contacting you in my and name of a friend. We have problem during shutdown Windows XP. My problem is following: hen I click on Turn off button, my system does not shut off, but reboots. Her problem is following: when she clicks on turn off button, XP just hangs on Saving your settings and she cannot open Task Manager to kill processes. Maybe you will know what we should to do

Hello! Maybe you think that yours problem is unusual or strange, but it is not like that. I know many people with same problems. I will start with your problem: this problem may occur because you use Roxio CD Creator software (Roxio and XP does not work properly); cause of this problem may be Y-SB3 Logitech Internet Keyboard or Logitech MouseWare 8.6; or if APM is disabled enable it or if AM is enabled disable it (sometimes users have problem because it is enabled, sometimes when it is disabled. Also, check if there is wake on or hidden wake on power settings. Regarding your friend; tell her that her problem is known and there is patch for it. Only she needs to do is to contact Microsoft for hotfix.
