I have wireless network at my home. This network consists of three laptops and a wireless router. I need to add a printer to this network and I would like to make this printer accessible no matter of laptops. To be more precise, I do not want to attach it to one laptop and make it inaccessible if that laptop is turned off.

You can accomplish this if you buy a printer sever or printer that has wireless card (or normal network card) in it. Then you will be able to share printer across wireless network without connecting it to laptop and making it inaccessible if laptop is turned off. It can be configured like any other network device so it should not present you a problem.
