| Hello! I will do my best. During installation Windows 2003 server you can select wanted networking services, so, do that. When you have installed Windows 2003 server, you will need to set Internet Explorer or other web browser settings to prevent breaking your network. You should install firewall too. After this you will need to configure network settings. Server IP address will be 192.168.1.XX, Subnet mask 255.255.255.0, and default gateway 192.168.1.254. Now open Run and type dcpromo, then click OK. Active Directory Installation Wizard will appear. Under Domain Controller type check Domain Controller for a new domain, then next button, check Domain in a new forest, then chose database folder, log folder and folder location. Check permission for compatibility with Win 200 and 2003 server; then install DNS server (just follow installation wizard); then configure TCP/IP settings; after this, install Asminpak.msi; after this install DHCP server (follow installation wizard); after this, create user accounts and user groups; at the end, share wanted folders and devices. |
