I'm new to computers so I might be asking something completely stupid but I really hope someone will answer. I was setting up an e-mail account in outlook and I came across something I don't have a clue about. Is there anyone who can explain to me what am I to put in POP and SMTP blanks? Thanks!

There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers and I hope this one isn't. The entries you need for the POP and SMTP fields depend on your internet service provider. For example, when I first came to my ISP they gave me a bunch of papers on how to set up an e-mail account and among them there was one with the POP and SMTP values. If your ISP has a web site you should be able to find that info there. If that's not the case I think it would be best to call them and ask them. I hope this answers your question.
