Serial port for Optical Mouse?

Hello! I have bought optical mouse. I have never used this kind of mouse before and I really do not know what serial port for Optical Mouse on my computer case is. I hope that you will explain me this. I hope that you are understood that this is very big problem for me. I am thanking you in advance!

Hello! There is difference between common mouse and optical mouse. But, this difference is regard performances. There is no difference for serial port for mouse. So, you will plug optical mouse on same serial port as your common mouse, unless your optical mouse is not an USB device. Only in this case you will plug it to USB port.
