Hello. I have used my DVD burner for two years. Now it started to acts strange, to destroy my discs, and to make some strange noise. I think that it has served its purpose, so it is time to buy the new one. But I really dont know what DVD burner to take. Can someone help me to select a DVD burner?

Selecting a DVD Burner? Hm, that is a hard and also the very easy thing to do. All companies made mutual contracts about parts of DVD burners. One company makes lasers, other plastic, the third I dont know what. So they all are buying part from each other and making almost similar DVD Burners. So whatever you buy you wont make mistake. But I must suggest you famous names. If I were you I wouldnt make experiments with no-name companies. But DVD burners are made to be used for some time( year, maybe two or three if you are lucky) and than you will be forced to buy new again.
