I am considering to upgrade from Windows XP Professional to Vista operating system. I have heard that Vista is very secure operating system and that attackers and viruses can not do a lot harm as they could on previous Windows operating systems. I would like to know if this is a true and are there any security flaws in Vista?

Hello. You should not believe in such claims. There is no such thing as perfectly secure operating system and Vista is not even close to this ideal. It has many security flaws and experts are claiming that networking is one of the biggest flows and that it is more insecure then networking inn Windows XP. Vista has a potential to be more secure then other operating systems but you should wait at least service pack 1.
