I think that there is something wrong with my Outlook Express. I’m using all sorts of anti-virus software but still somehow the viruses find their way to breach through. I think that this happens because I’m using Outlook express and this program obviously enables virus intrusion despite the fact that I have AV protection. Is this possible?
I don’t think so. Anti-virus software covers all programs and applications and there is no way that Outlook Express can create a kind of opening so that viruses can enter. Yu should check your anti-virus settings because you maybe haven’t adjusted them properly in the sense that you allowed that all kinds of content can be received form the internet via Outlook Express. Try to adjust the settings so that each mail received via Outlook Express undergoes a thorough check-up before it is opened. Pay a special attention to attachments because they’re mainly the carriers of a virus. So, don’t blame it on Outlook Express, it just the matter of bad settings. I think so at least, because I’m using Outlook Express and I have never encountered a virus threat.
