| I was recently told that I should set up a password on my wireless router rather than leave it open for unauthorized external access, but when I went ahead and tried to do this, I found that there was already a password in place! I don't know who set it up or when, but I know I can't access the configuration myself. Is there some way of resetting this that won't delete my existing network settings? TIA. |

Just to be on the safe side, you did try logging in with blank as the password? Most routers default to a blank password, and the default registered username ("admin" or whatever).
